Is it just me or does anyone else find this absolutely hysterical? Larry, Curley, and Moe here co-authored a not so veiled threat letter to ABC/Disney in r/e "The Path To 9-11" asking that it be edited or pulled. What do you suppose would happen if you asked the same of Michael Moore, Spike Lee or Oliver Stone? I personally don't care if they run the movie or not, it's not something I would watch anyway (still too fresh in my mind) but it's certainly not my place to ask the network to edit it to my liking or change the story to fit my politics.
It's s*it like this that makes most thinking Americans just cringe. These three whistledicks
are SO blatantly partisan and self-serving, it should make real democrats just plain embarrassed.

Seems like politicians these days spend a lot of time telling us what we should and shouldn't be allowed to see.
They are not just distortions of the facts but blatant fiction and they are very damning to those portrayed in those scenes.
Unfortunately, they claim it's based on the 9/11 Commission report and they even have a trailer claiming it's the "official true story".
This distortion of the history leading up to 9/11 for political gain is unfortunate yet typical of Rovian tactics. My hunch is that the funding of this film will eventually be linked to Richard Scaife - a known GOP dirty trickster.
Clearly it's ok to editorialize within a documentary. But to add completely false information into a documentary is wrong - no matter who does it...
A fucking ratings ploy by ABC...and it's working like a charm.
Anyone who takes this thing any more seriously than Farenheit 9/11 or Oliver Stone's little JFK confection is just further proof that we truly are a country full of idiots.
On one hand, anyone who normally crusades against networks like ABC when it comes to "News" shouldn't be falling hook line and sinker for some ultra-embellished docu-drama.
On the other hand, anyone who thinks that the Federal Government should be allowed to somehow distinguish between fact and fiction for us know-nothing Serfs need to get carted off to China for a while.
For fucks sake, people...this is TELEVISION. You know, like Spongebob, and Dr. Phil! It's all pretend...even "Reality TV" is about the farthest fucking thing from actual reality.
Oh, but I forgot...if we mention Bill Clinton's name without genuflecting and taking a quick knee in solemn reverence then we are soiling the image that the disingenuous morons at the DNC have tried so hard to cast in bronze for future generations of Darwinian rejects to fawn over in decades to come...
